Real World: New Orleans
So first off I would like to apologize for not posting the last couple of days. I've been getting home, crazy late and have missed every TV show worth blogging about. So finally something interesting and exciting has come on. Tonight was the premiere of Real World: New Orleans. I love, love, love Real World. It's been airing since the late 80's. There has been some hit and misses, because some times the cast either has too many issues or they are really boring. The last great Real World to me was Real World: Hollywood. The cast was perfect. The drama was intense. The season was epic. After Hollywood, Real World became boring to me. Tonight in only one episode, I can tell I'm really going to like this season. There are some hot, sexy, males and females on this season. Already there's drama-on day one. So checkout MTV's new season of Real World on Wednesday at 9PM.

Hotness!
Today was one, hot day, like its been pretty much everywhere on the East and West coast. Well since it was hot outside, I decided to spend my Sunday, watching TV, wearing just a sports bra and underwear, under the fan. Well tonight on TV featured a lot of hot people. I watched the 2010 BET Awards, hosted by the hot, Queen Latifah. This award show marked the tenth year since the award show started on the BET Network, honoring black entertainment. So Queen Latifah changed costumes and outfits after every commercial break, highlighting some of the characters she has portrayed in the last 10 years. I found it very weird and not attractive nor entertaining to see her portray some of her characters. I also think she was one of the worst award host's the award show has ever had. She wasn't funny and I hated her show opening performance. Well I hate any award host that open their show with a song making fun of celebrities in the audience. On a good note I was glad that BET has finally welcomed Chris Brown back and let him finally do a dance and song number, remembering the life and death of Michael Jackson. It was great! Michael died in the midst of the Chris Brown and Rhianna incident so when it came time to remember him at last year's award show, Chris Brown wasn't able to perform nor did anyone really want him too since he lost his fan base. Well he hasn't quite gotten all his fans back, but he was surely, highly accepted by everyone tonight at the award show, making it extra HOT! Also tonight I wanted to mention my favorite Sunday "E! Hotness!" shows. Every Sunday, I watch "Kourtney and Khole; Take Miami" and "Holly's World" all on E! I love these shows because these girls are funny, entertaining and HOT! So if you haven't checked them out, please do. It will bring a little more hotness to your ever so hot summer!

Kids Night
So tonight I got a much needed babysitting job in which provided me with much needed cash for the summer. So tonight I didn't get the chance to watch anything I would like on TV. It was mostly Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. My head is still throbbing from all the immature and not all that funny episodes of "Suite Life Of Zack & Cody" and "Zoey 101." I think at some point those programs aren't funny anymore. I remember years ago they were but now that I'm in college I prefer more serious TV shows or comedy programs like "Saturday Night Live" or "The Office." Well I endured it for the night. So tomorrow I will write about some of my favorite programs that air on Sunday nights. I call it "E! Hotness!" I will tell you more about it tomorrow. Hopefully you all watched something great tonight. USA loss, so who are you now rooting for to win the World Cup?

Wedding Friday's

Every Friday night before I go out with friends or do something fun, I have to watch all my wedding shows that air on Friday, such as "Say Yes To The Dress," and "Battle Of The Wedding Designers." Both of these amazing wedding shows air on TLC. I'm a girl, and what girl doesn't like weddings, so these shows are perfect for any bride wanna-be. On "Say Yes To The Dress" the show follows the wedding dress consultants at the famous wedding dress store, Kleinfeld's in New York. Brides travel all over the country to this store to try on their amazing designer dresses. The wedding consultants, are funny, smart, and definitely know what dress will be the winner for the bride to be. I honestly can't wait to get married someday so I can shop there too! On "Battle Of The Wedding Designers," 3 wedding designers create their own vision of the perfect wedding for the couple getting married. The couple presents their theme and budget, tonight the wedding theme was "Rocker Chic," and the 3 designers illustrate their vision for the couples wedding by showing them their intended venue, reception space, food, and decor. Then the couple makes the decision of which designer created their dream wedding. The designer who won tonight, created an amazing wedding. The venue was in an old theater building, complete with checkered floor, red roses, and a lot of black and white to display that "Rocker Chic" theme. I think this show is good example of how competitions don't have to be this big thing. 3 people are competing and in one hour they all 3 show the couple their illustrations of their wedding and also in that hour they show the actual wedding. So you get a lot bang for your buck, or in this case, you get a entertaining episode for an hour! So please check out these shows, every Friday, starting at 8 p.m.

Worse TV Night Ever..
So tonight I missed anything remotely good on TV because my mother threw an impromptu dinner party for her friends. So I was left to entertain while the 2010 World Cup was on our big screen in the living room. Though I enjoy sports, I rather watch something on TV that I love. I missed tonight the 1 hour cast off decision on "So You Think You Can Dance." I mean since it aired, I haven't been "religiously" watching it, due the fact they decided instead of doing a cast of 20 dancers competing to win the overall competition that instead they wanted to bring in 10 all star dancers (past favorite dancers seen on the show) and 11 young hopefuls to compete for the overall competition. This makes me mad because they are trying to make the show somewhat like "Dancing With The Stars" yet instead the competitors already know how to dance! So I've been watching it but during it I tend to flip the channels because It gets a tad bit boring to watch for a full 2 hours. So tonight I watched "Bethenny Getting Married?" which is Bethenny Frankel's new spin off show about her planning her marriage and un-planned pregnancy at the same time. Bethenny is one of the busy, poised, socialite's on Bravo's "The Real Housewives Of New York." She's a self-made business women and has her own business called, Skinnygirl. Which comes with an assortment of drinks, cook books, recipes, and she does catering. She is truly amazing, and when last year she met the man of her dreams, Jason Hobby, it was only right that the Bravo network wanted to document her every move. So I give this show an A+. It's funny, real, and just entertaining. Also tonight I watched the premiere of the second season of "Raising Sextuplets." This show aires on Women's Entertainment Television (WEtv). It follows the Masche family which consists of 8 people; the mother, father and the sextuplets. To me, its like the better version of "Jon and Kate, Plus Eight." It's great to see a family with multiples deal with life together differently than the Grosselin family because Jon and Kate got fame hungry and the Masches aren't, well at least not yet. Well check it out, I promise you will fall in love with this family by the end of only one episode!

Drake: Better Than Good Enough

So tonight, I watched on MTV, the documentary on the new up-and-coming artist, Aubrey "Drake" Graham. Drake's new album entitled, "Thank Me Later" just hit the stores and is doing amazingly well on the charts. I'm glad that MTV decided to document Drake and give his fans a little peek into his ever changing life as a new artist. I learned a lot about him through this television program. At the end of the show, the interviewer asked Drake, "who are you and what do you do?" A weird question to ask at the end, even Drake laughed, but his answer was simple yet profound. He said, "I am Aubrey Drake Graham and I'm making a living being totally me," meaning his whole purpose as an artist and performer is to be real, be himself, be Drake. I loved the realness he brought forth with every answer to every question asked. His family, friends, and fans are shown on the show, showing great respect for him and they support him no matter what. His producer and friend "40" quit his job and got on the road with Drake nearly 3 years ago because he believed in his ability to become great and so far he's the greatest thing that has happened in 2010. His name is everywhere, which is interesting because I'm sure you guys remember him from his acting career in Degrassi: The Next Generation, so if his name wasn't out there already, it sure is now. I think he will go far as an artist but no matter what the point he seemed to want to get across during the documentary is that one day everything could change- the music, his point of view in life, the fans, etc. so he's concentrating on now and I think thats amazing. Everyone please go out and buy tickets to his concerts, listen to his music, buy his CD and make it the "soundtrack to your summer."

"BRAVO!" Bravo!

“BRAVO!” Bravo. I’m sure I’m not the first to say, thank you to the Bravo network for their amazing and cutting edge shows. They are actually making RealityTV fun, interesting and entertaining. The old shows that I hope return soon: Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kell On Earth, Flipping Out, Make Me A Supermodel, Workout, Tabitha Salon Takeover, Shear Genius and The Rachel Zoe Project. So please Bravo!! keep the great entertainment coming and bring back some of the old shows, for atleast re-runs, thanks!
